During a meeting with the property manager on August 28th, I was informed that my rent for 2023-2024 would be $537 per month. This represents a 21.5% increase in a year when my cost of living adjustment was only 5.8%.
Reona Hewlett was equally surprised and offered to re-calculate the amount.
Note: I personally calculated the percentage increase; it is 21.5%, not 16.5%.

After removing the evidence of non-payment from the ledger that Mr. Webster provided, SHMS raised my rent by 21.5%. They are attempting to make my apartment unaffordable for me.
